You can have access to the news on this site, receive our quarterly newsletter bps news, participate in our subsidised events programme across regions throughout the country, network with colleagues, contribute your own news articles to the editor, etc.
Membership fee information
Membership is £10pa. There are three ways to pay:
- Deducted automatically from your pension if you have a BP pension. 83p a month.
- Pay online when you complete the online application form.
- Download the PDF application form to complete, sign, print and post to us with your payment to the bp society c/o bp UK Pensions and Benefits.

Types of membership
bp pensioners
For people who worked for bp and have a bp pension. Fee will be deducted automatically from your pension. 83p a month.
Non-bp pensioners
For people who have worked for bp but who do not receive a bp pension. £10 per annum.
Ex-Shell-Mex & BP employees
For people who worked for Shell-Mex & BP but do not receive a bp pension. £10 per annum.

Don’t want to join online? Regardless of the membership type, you have the option to download the application form and send it by post.
PDF application form
If you don’t want to join online you have the option to download an application form and send it by post together with your payment of £10 for 1 year.
