The bp society (bps) is responsible for your personal information and is registered at Chertsey Road, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex TW16 7BP.  bps and the BP Pension Fund will use the information you provide in this form to administer and operate bps, including establishing your membership, sending an initial welcome letter and the current issue of our newsletter. Your details will be verified by our Administration Secretary and you may then be granted access to our bps website and Facebook account.

We may contact you by post, email or phone about forthcoming events and topics which we reasonably believe are of interest to you. Email alerts may be sent to you advising of any new events. We may also need to disclose your information to our service providers and agents for these purposes.  

You can opt-out of receiving any future communications at any time or enquire about the personal data we hold on you, or ask for it to be rectified or deleted by contacting our Administration Secretary, Elaine Bush, 07850 244257, or

By completing this form and submitting your data to us you consent to your personal information being used for these purposes. We will hold this data securely in the UK and it will be kept whilst you remain a member of bps.  Once your membership ceases your data will be kept for an additional period of 6 months, after which time it will be removed and deleted.
