Regions

Each Region has a Coordinator who acts as the focal point for events within each Region. The main roles of the Coordinator are:

To liaise with the event organisers in their Region and agree the venue, date and cost with each event organiser;

To collate event details for each issue of the bps news and ensure that events are published on the society website;

To agree with the Regional Treasurer the budget for each financial year;

The Coordinator may hold planning meetings with the organisers in their Region to agree each year’s events programme;

Two Coordinators represent their colleagues on the Council.
